Why did I receive a copyright claim on my YouTube video?
Most of my music is protected with Content ID by Identifyy (HAAWK) music fingerprinting service. If you do not want to monetize your video, then you don’t need to do anything. The Copyright Claim is not a Copyright Strike and your channel is fine.
Once you have a license, you can get your video whitelisted by going to the following link and adding it:
What can I NOT use your music for?
You cannot stream my music on streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, etc…
You cannot sample my music and place it in a song.
You cannot record vocals to place over my song and then monetize that version.
Please see the LICENSE TERMS for a comlete explanation.
How long will my license last?
All licenses from PhonoFreq Studio will be in perpetuity - forever - for life.
What is the “Musical Energy” filter?
This describes how the MAIN music track crescendos/decrescendos over time.
- Ascending = Music will gradually get more exciting/louder/busier as it progresses to the finale.
- Dynamic = Music with lot of dynamic musical excitement. Loud sections mixed in with softer more mellow musical passages.
- Steady = Music that will basically keep the same energy throughout. So if the track starts off mellow, it will not get much more louder/busier in sound.
What is an UNDERSCORE?
Any track that has an UNDERSCORE as a Sub Mix is going to be exactly like the Main Mix but with all of the melodies removed.
How do I give you credit?
